Pet Travel

All our veterinary surgeons are Local Veterinary Inspectors or LVI’s which allow them to complete PET passports. Each pet must fulfil the requirements of the PET Travel Scheme. In order to qualify for the pet travel scheme, your pet must follow the steps listed:

A permanently identified to allow all the necessary information to link with your pet.

This can be carried given on the same day as the microchipping and will provide the correct immunity to rabies whilst travelling abroad.

Once we have vaccinated against rabies, we can complete an individual PETS passport, each pet must be health checked at the time of issue.

Your pet is able to travel 21 days after vaccinating.

There are other requirements and costs, for instance yearly rabies boosters and exotic disease protection whilst abroad.
